The Parkers in 1958

Darryl and Mildred Parker of Petrolia will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house, date to be announced.

Parker married the former Mildred McMillin on April 11, 1958, at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church in Chicora.

They have three children, Kimberly Miller of Chicora, Beverly Brown of Slippery Rock and Richard Parker of Petrolia.

They also have six grandchildren.

Parker is retired from Penreco, where he worked for 42 years as a lab technician.

Mrs. Parker is retired from E.F. Hay's Sons Hardware, where she worked 55 years.

The Parkers are members of Karns City Methodist Church.
