Hepler

Stella Hepler of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a family dinner at Red Lobster restaurant.

Hepler was born March 30, 1918, in Butler.

She has one daughter, Patricia Galbreath of Butler. She also has two grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Hepler was the crossing guard at Saint Michael's School for many years. She then worked at Sunnyview Home as the head of housekeeping until her retirement in 1988.

As a young woman, she played industrial league softball in Detroit. She also bowled in numerous leagues into her eighties.

Hepler enjoys watching the Pirates and Steelers and playing bingo. She is a lifelong member of Saint Michael Roman Catholic Church.
