Jessica Watson, an Ashland University junior, was one of three Ashland students who traveled to the Dominican Republic in January on a Students in Free Enterprise team with Esperanza International.Watson is the daughter of Troy and Cynthia Watson of Harmony. She is a 2005 Seneca Valley High School graduate.———

Shelley Perschke, a senior molecular biology major at Westminster College, will present "The Effect of Phthalates on HOXA13 Expression in Regenerating Limbs of Ambystoma Mexicanum" at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in April at Salisbury University in Maryland. She is a daughter of Thomas and Jenny Perschke of Renfrew and a graduate of Butler Area High School.
