SLIPPERY ROCK — A Victorian tea will be offered from 4 to 6 p.m. May 4 at the Alumni House on the Slippery Rock University campus.

Harpist Debbie Vallin and other musical performers will be featured. The event will benefit the Slippery Rock Library.

Tickets are being sold in advance only at the library, Slippery Rock Florist Shop and Taggart's Jewelry.

The Homeacre Christian Academy will host its last family skate of the season from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Skate Castle on New Castle Road.

NORTH WASHINGTON — The North Washington Volunteer Fire Department will host a spring auction beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at the VFD social hall.Toys, fishing equipment, tools and household items will be featured. The kitchen will be open.The social hall is located at 739 Fairview Road. Credit cards will be accepted.

The Butler County Drug and Alcohol Program will host two town meetings on the topic of underage drinking. The events will feature public officials, law enforcement officials and speakers from Butler County Court Services and other community agencies.The meetings will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. March 31 at Cinema 356 in Sarver and from 3 to 5:30 p.m. April 2 in Eisenberg Auditorium, Slippery Rock University.For more information, call 724-284-5114.

SARVER — The Pieceful Patchers quilt guild will host a program featuring new publications from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 31 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 409 Sarver Road.Pat Knoechel and her sister, Eleanor Burns, will speak at the program and book signing. A trunk sale also will be offered.
