John Ammer, 86, formerly of Ellwood City, died Monday at Autumn Grove Care Center, Harrisville.

He was born June 24, 1921.

He had been a crane operator and was a former member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, New Castle.

There are no known survivors.
