Mary Sue Reed
Mary Sue Fredley Reed, 79, of Hampton Township died Saturday at the Vincentian Regency in McCandless Township.
Born Aug. 6, 1928, in Deer Creek, she was a daughter of Donald E. and Erla Mae Thompson Fredley.
She was a member of the Bakerstown United Methodist Church in Richland Township.
Mrs. Reed had been a teachers aide and retired after 20 years with the Allegheny County Intermediate Unit in Richland, Hampton and Shaler townships.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Jane (Ed) Under of Mars; a son, David Willard Reed of Moorcroft, Wyo.; brothers Ronald Fredley of Richland Township and Donald Fredley of Hampton Township; and grandchildren, Anette and Jon Unger.
Her husband, Edgar L. Reed, whom she married Nov. 11, 1948, at the Allison Park Presbyterian Church, died Aug. 20, 2003. She also was preceded in death by her sisters, Jane Fredley Weisel and Aileen Martin.
<B>REED</B> — Friends of Mary Sue Fredley Reed, who died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home</B>, Route 8 at 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Stewart officiating.
