Esther Ruthene Wolfe
Esther Ruthene Wolfe, 98, of Zelienople died Tuesday at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born Aug. 28, 1909, in Evans City, she was a daughter of John Edwin and Allena Goehring Ehrman.
Mrs. Wolfe had been an active member of St. Peter's Reformed Church and served in many ways over the years.
She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Esther lived her life devoted to the love of God and her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Painter and her husband, Jon, of Zelienople; a son, Gary Wolfe and his wife, Frances, of Lansing, Mich.; four grandchildren, Tammy Fallon and her husband, Jeff, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Timothy Wolfe of Napa, Calif., Eric Painter and his wife, Melissa, of Zelienople and Elissa Chrismer and her husband, Scott, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew and Madison Fallon, Emily Painter, Christopher and Elizabeth DiNunzio and Ethan and Logan Chrismer.
She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Wolfe, who died Oct. 14, 1999, and by a brother, John Edwin Ehrman.
<B>WOLFE</B> — Friends of Esther Ruthene Wolfe, who died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Reformed Church, Zelienople, with the Rev. James Bertoti officiating.
