Marthabell Silvis Riemer, 86, of Gainesville, Va., formerly of Saxonburg, died Monday at the Gainesville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in New Bethlehem, Pa., Jan. 10, 1922, she was a daughter of Fulmer and Pearl King Silvis.

She had been a notary public for various automobile dealerships.

She is survived by her children, Richard Riemer and his wife, Linda, of Centreville, Va., and Deborah Fisher and her husband, David, of Hatfield, Pa.; her grandchildren, Michael Riemer, Karistin Heller and Karen Fisher; and her great-grandchildren, James and Benjamin Riemer.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard.
