Thomas E. Neff

Thomas E. Neff, 72, of Keck Road died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 12, 1935, he was a son of Herman W. and Mary Agnes Angert Neff.

He was a veteran of the Army and was a member of the Chicora American Legion.

Mr. Neff had worked at the Pullman Standard for 18 years until it closed. He also was a partner in Neff Brothers Water Well Drilling and Repair for more than 40 years.

He was a member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and his hobby was oil and gas wells.

His wife, Donna E. Knoll Neff, whom he married July 11, 1964, survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Trudy E. Neff of Boyers; a sister, Mrs. Phillip (Catherine) Graham of Greensburg; eight brothers, Joseph W., Wendelin H., Andrew J., Herman A., Benjamin C., Patrick E., Gerard A., and Raymond E. Neff, all of Chicora; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A brother, James J. Neff, preceded him in death.

<B>NEFF </B>— Friends of Thomas E. Neff, who died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John R.C. Church in Coylesville with his brother-in-law, the Rev. Lester Knoll O.F.M. Cap., officiating.
