Horner

Arvella "Pose"Kriebel Horner, 77, of Parker died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at her home after a long illness.

Born May 16, 1930, in Dutch Hill, Clarion County, she was a daughter of Lee and Alice Everett Kriebel.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of God in Dutch Hill and Parker; and after they merged, she was a faithful member and worker at the Park Hill Church of God, now in West Freedom. Until ill health forced her retirement, she worked with the youth of the Day Care Center at Park Hill. She also was a member of the Women of the Church of God.

Mrs. Horner had worked at various retail businesses in the Parker, Emlenton and Callensburg areas.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph E. Horner, who she married July 21, 1950; a daughter, Lisa Horner Hunker and her husband, Gary, of North Apollo; two brothers, Gary Horner and Brad Horner and his wife, Janice, all of Parker; five grandchildren, Taylor, Shayla and Lexie Hunker, Brian Horner and Kristen Smith; two great-grandchildren, Marissa Smith and Madelyn Horner; a sister, Doretha Rhodes of Lebanon, Ohio; three brothers and their wives, Ray "Skip" (Jean) Kriebel and Terry (Kathy) Kriebel, all of Parker, and Rod (Patty) Kriebel of West Freedom; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Junior, N. Bruce and Bobby Kriebel.

<B>HORNER</B> — Friends of Arvella "Pose"Kriebel Horner, who died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Park Hill Church of God, Lime Plant Road, West Freedom, Clarion County. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church with Pastor Lonny Wolford and staff officiating. Burial will be at the Mt.
