Raymond E. Bunzo
Raymond E. Bunzo, 90, of Zelienople died Friday at his home.
Born July 4, 1917, in Criders Corners, he was the son of Harry and Cora Flinner Bonzo.
Mr. Bunzo graduated from Zelienople High School and attended Penn State University's agricultural program for one year.
He was a member of the Park United Presbyterian Church of Zelienople and a lifetime member of the Jackson Grange. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Pennsylvania Conservation District.
Always young at heart, he loved his farm where he spent his entire life raising chickens and planting and growing trees, especially nut trees.
He is survived by two daughters, Rosalyn F. Whitehead and her husband, Scott A., of Zelienople and Marilyn S. Bunzo and her husband, John Allen, of New Brighton, Minn., two granddaughters, Brianna and Gwyneth Allen; a niece, Linda Reich, and a nephew, Ralph Bischak, both of New Sewickley Township.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Francis Bunzo, who died Feb, 16, 1996; a sister, Grace Bischak, and two brothers, Russell and Paul Bonzo.
<B>BUNZO</B> — Friends of Raymond E. Bunzo, who died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Patrick McElroy, his church pastor, officiating.
