Harry S. Snyder Jr.
Harry S. Snyder Jr., 82, of Shuler Road in Fenelton died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 26, 1925, he was a son of Clara Nugent Snyder and Harry S. Snyder Sr.
He had been a truck driver at Wick Implement in Butler for 20 years and at Snyder Implement in Kittanning for 10 years. He also owned and operated his family farm and sawmill his entire life.
Mr. Snyder was a member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.
His wife, Rose M. Spinneweber Snyder, who he married Oct. 26, 1948, survives. Also surviving are five sons and their wives, Harry Stephen Snyder III and his wife, Debra Snyder, Ronald E. and Carol Lynn Snyder, Raymond A. and Becky Snyder, and Patrick M. and Mary Snyder, all of Fenelton, and C.M. Sgt. Ralph J. Snyder and his wife, Rosemary Snyder, of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.; four brothers, Charles V. Snyder of Butler and J. Joseph, Leo E. and Thomas A. Snyder, all of Fenelton; three sisters, Veronica Wilbert, Theresa Snyder, and Margaret Graham, all of Fenelton; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Snyder Jr., who died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville with the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating.
