Julia Howryla

Julia Howryla of Hampstead, N.C., formerly of Butler, died Tuesday at the Woodbury Wellness Center in North Carolina.

Born in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie Banza Howryla.

Ms. Howryla was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lyndora.

She is survived by three brothers, John, Harry and Michael Howryla, all of Butler; one sister, Ann Miller; 15 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.

Two brothers, Pete and Steve Howryla, and a great niece, Lynette Messick, preceded her in death.

<B>HOWRYLA</B> — Funeral services for Julia Howryla, who died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., with the Rev. Fr. Paisius McGrath, pastor of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, officiating. Private burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Butler.Memorial donations may be made to SS.
