Aaron Davis has been accepted to Gannon University for the fall semester. He plans to major in business administration.A senior at Knoch High School, Davis is the son of Rodger and Darla Davis of Butler. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the French club, weightlifting club and the football team.Davis is also the recipient of an Academic Excellence Award and the Sword of Hard Work.———
<B>Amanda Sharbaugh</B> has been accepted to Gannon University. She plans to enroll in the fall as a physician assistant major.The daughter of Doug and Pam Sharbaugh of Sarver, she is a senior at Knoch High School.At school, Sharbaugh is active in the National Honor Society, serves as student council president and is a member of the class cabinet, Spanish Club and FCCLA. She also serves as a peer tutor and in soccer was named an MVP and participated in the All-WPIAL team.———
Several Butler County students participated in the Kent State University High School All-Star Band Weekend held in January.Local participants included <B>Christopher Cokain, Michele Gebhart </B>and <B>Michael Unger</B>, all of Moniteau High School, and <B>Evy Silvis</B> of Knoch High School.———
<B>Tyler Traister</B>, <B>John Zanot</B> and <B>Elizabeth Nichols</B>, all students at Union High School, recently participated in the PMEARegion II Band Festival held at Marion High School.———
<B>Fontaine Graham</B> of Butler recently enrolled in the American Quarter Horse Association Horseback Riding Program. Participants in the program track hours spent riding an American Quarter Horse. Awards are presented to participants based on hours completed.
