Deahl 50th anniversary

Judy and Charles "Mickey" Deahl Sr.

Judy and Charles "Mickey" Deahl Sr. will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday. Afamily trip to Cape Hatteras, N.C., is planned in June to celebrate.

The former Judy Black married Deahl on Feb. 8, 1958, at Hill United Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have four children, Chuck Deahl Jr. and Evie Barnes, both of Butler, and Chris Powell and De-De Wishing, both of Grove City.

They also have 10 grandchildren.

Deahl is retired from Butler Consumer Discount Company, of which he was the founding president. He enjoys golf and woodworking and serves as a volunteer and board member for Meals on Wheels.

Mrs. Deahl is also retired. She worked as a surgical nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital. She serves on the board and plays violin in the Butler County Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys golf and singing with her daughters as the Deahl Quartet. She also volunteers with Meals on Wheels.

The couple belongs to North Main Street Church of God, where Mrs. Deahl is active in the church choir.
