Hohmann

Bessie Jane Hohmann, 91, a resident of Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople, formerly of Lancaster Township, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2007.

She was the beloved wife of the late Clyde W. Hohmann; cherished mother of Nancy J. (Bob) King of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., Linda G. (Tim) Trout of Rio Rancho, N.M., Ken R. (Janet) Hohmann of Wallowa, Ore., and the late Jerry Hohmann; adored grandmother of Dave (Valerie) Patterson, Dana Patterson, Kendra King, Natasha King and Sheri (Brett Markum) Hohmann; and blessed great-grandmother of Austin, Brady, Clay and David Patterson, Aubriana Hohmann and Camden Jerry Markum. She is also survived by the following special people: her sister, Zoe Weyman; daughter-in-law, Aileen Hohmann; sisters-in-law, Lois Young and Mildred Hohmann; niece, Carol Fletcher; nephew, Keith Weyman and best friend, Miriam Cable; and survived by other special nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Young.

Mrs. Hohmann was a life-long member of St. Peter's Reformed Church, Zelienople, where she was a member of the Ever Ready Sunday School Class. She worked with her late husband on their family farm for 60 years, but first and foremost, was a farmer's wife and mother. Jane came to Passavant Retirement Community seven years ago.
