Betty Kelly Hoover, 71, of Grove City died at 2:01 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Living Center, Grove City, after a five-year illness.

Born in Grove City, April 24, 1936, she was the daughter of Glenn A. and Florence Evelyn McEwen Kelly.

She retired in 1998 from Joy Manufacturing in Franklin, where she was a planner for 40 years.

Mrs. Hoover was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City. She also belonged to and was past president of the Eagles Club Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Moose Club, all of Franklin, and the American Legion Post 220 Ladies Auxiliary of Grove City.

Surviving are her husband, Albert J. "Buss" Hoover, whom she married July 26, 1978; six children, Kelly Hall and her husband Anthony of Franklin, Verna Mae "Susie" Richards of Harrisville, Katherine Jean Davis and her husband Ed of Grove City, LuAnn McFadden and her husband Marty and Albert J. "Buzz" Hoover Jr., all of Harrisville, and Arthur "Artie" Hoover and his wife Michelle of Forestville; a sister, Mrs. Peggy Hricsina of Franklin; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lux.

<B>HOOVER </B>— Friends of Betty Kelly Hoover, who died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Shaughnessy, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.
