Arthur Greathead of Butler was recently recognized by U.S. Sen. Arlen Spector, R-Pa., and U.S. Rep. Phil English, R-3rd, receiving certificates for his dedication to veterans locally and nationally.Locally, Greathead has been a volunteer at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center for many years. He hosts the Veterans Information Program on Armstrong's Channel 10 and is a member and the current commander of the Butler chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.———

Butler Meals on Wheels recently received a donation of $1,000 from the

Butler Rotary Club.The donation came from the proceeds of the Rotary's annual Turkey Roundup fundraiser.The funds will be used to continue Meals on Wheels operations.———Winners at the
