A PROPER INTRODUCTION

Sixth-degree black belt Master Robert Zang, assisted, at right, by Junior Girl Scout Jeanna Sybert, a 2nd-degree black belt and member of Troop 534, shows Girl Scouts from the Trefoil neighborhood the proper way to punch during an afternoon of introducing them to the Korean martial art of tae kwon do. About 30 Junior and Cadet Scouts from the Mars area gathered at Young Brothers Tae Kwon-Do Institute in Cranberry Township and learned the sport's history, safety measures, stretching and how to break a board. In addition, the girls donated items for the Butler County Humane Society. About $130 in donations was collected.
