Rosellini

Jaime "Annie" Rosellini, was named one of the 15 semifinalists out of 96 contestants in the Miss Teen Pennsylvania USA pageant held recently at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport.

Rosellini, 16, is the daughter of Jaime and Lou Ann Rosellini of Butler. A sophomore at Butler Intermediate High School, she is active in the Stand Tall program and volunteers as a candystriper at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Family and friends sponsored Rosellini's entry in the pageant.

<B>The Butler Public Library</B> has announced the receipt of a $500 donation from the <B>Rotary Club of Butler</B>.The funds will be used to purchase large print books for individuals who find it challenging to read standard print books.———

A Mars Home for Youth paraprofessional in the emotional support program has been named the 2007 Spirit Award winner.<B>Patricia Knable</B> was honored Nov. 28 with the award that recognizes a support staff individual who shows excellence on the job and involvement in the community.Knable was nominated by several people for the award sponsored by the Midwest Intermediate Unit IV."Something you should know about Mrs. Knable is that she loves and cares for us," wrote Melanie, a student at Mars, according to a release from the intermediate unit.<B></B>Melanie's last name was withheld in the release.Mars Home for Youth in Adams Township is a nonprofit agency that provides services to at-risk youth and families. The intermediate unit provides on-campus classrooms for the students at the home.Knable has worked for the intermediate unit for 14 years. She lives in Saxonburg with her husband, Gerry.———

<B>Baglier Buick, GMC, Mazda</B> in Butler recently held a food drive. More than 26,000 pounds of goods were donated to a Butler County food bank.———

The <B>Butler Old Stone House Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America</B> has named <B>Daryl Kemerer</B> its president for the new club year.Other officers include vice president <B>Dwight Jones</B>, board of directors leader <B>Forrest White</B>, secretary <B>Mary Etta White</B> and treasurer <B>Jean Scheiwkart</B>.The club, founded in 1965, maintains the Butler-built 1909 Huselton owned by the city of Butler and the 1922 Standard of owned by the club. The club recently purchased another Standard to restore.Kemerer, Jones, Dutch Grabe and Forrest White made the trip to Charleston, S.C., to retrieve the vehicle.———

Winners at the <B>Butler Duplicate Bridge Club</B> game held Nov. 29 were <B>Alan Martin</B> and <B>John Kristufek</B>. Coming in second place were <B>Bill Stewart </B>and <B>Richard Horlacher</B>.
