Levi Shearer, a sixth-grade St. Luke's Lutheran School student, prepares a care package that will be sent to students in southern India. Students at the school in Cabot recently packaged 300 boxes of school and personal care supplies to send to students in India. The packages will benefit children in areas ravaged by the Tsunami in December 2004. In addition to school supplies, toothbrushes and toothpaste, each package contained a small toy and a personal letter. Supplies for the boxes were donated by members of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. The care packages will be distributed to India through Lutheran Hour Ministries' Global Care Packages program.
