A Dec. 31, 2008, wedding is being planned by Butler residents Crystal Gillespie and Stephen Langston.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James O'Day of Houston, Texas. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Langston of Benezette and Mr. and Mrs. David Bopp of Sarver.

The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Stratford High School and a 2003 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for Global Tax Management in Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé graduated in 1994 from Knoch High School. He works for Harry Products in Butler.
