Allen and Bernice Hook

Allen and Bernice Hook of Winfield Township will celebrate 65 years of marriage Monday.

The former Bernice Wagner married Hook on Dec. 3, 1942, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot.

They have four children, Marjorie Cuellar of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; Tom Hook of Saxonburg; Kathy Shell of Roanoke, Va.; and Ron Hook of Madison, Conn.

They also have 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Hook retired from Butler Savings and Trust after 35 years of service. He is a veteran of the Air Force, serving for four years in the China, Burma and India theater.

The couple volunteers at the Saxonburg American Legion Post 683, where they are active members. They also volunteer at their church, St. Luke's Lutheran.
