Jean and Tom Olcus

Tom and Jean Olcus of Chicora will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday. A family dinner is planned at the home of their daughter.

The former Jean Cress married Olcus Nov. 23, 1957, at St. John's Reformed Church in Butler Township.

They have three children, Joseph Olcus, Kathy Sweeney and Tom Olcus, all of Chicora.

They also have four grandchildren.Olcus is retired from Penreco. He belongs to the VFW and American Legion.Mrs. Olcus is a homemaker and retired registered nurse. She is a member of Nurses Alumni of Butler Memorial Hospital.The couple belongs to St. Paul's Community Church in Sugarcreek.
