Calvin Presbyterian Church will be the site of Calvin Youth Groups' staging of "The Sound of Music" at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday, as well as at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15, 16 and 17, all at the church, 415 E. Slippery Rock Area Parks and Recreation and Slippery Rock Middle School are presenting their fall musical production of "Rock Around the Block" at 7 p.m. tonight in the Slippery Rock High School auditorium. Tickets are $3 and will be available at the door at 6 p.m. Call 724-794-8180.

<B>Pittsburgh International Children's Theater</B> will begin its 38th Family Series in the fall, focusing on children's books, specifically "Pinkalicious," on Wednesday through Nov. 19 at area locations. <B>New Castle Playhouse</B>, 202 E. Long Ave. in New Castle, is staging "The Wizard of Oz" Nov. 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30 and Dec. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. evenings and 2 p.m. Sundays. An extra matinee is planned at 2 p.m. Dec. 8.
