Dorothy Bovard
Dorothy Bovard, 74, of Marion Township died Friday at 5:10 p.m. at Grove Manor, Grove City, after a short illness.
She was born in Marion Township on March 14, 1933. She was the daughter of Clair and Margaret Hartley Dyer.
She was a 1952 graduate of Grove City High School.
Mrs. Bovard was a homemaker.
She was a member of the West Unity Community Church, Marion Township, the Marion Township Fire Department Auxiliary, and the Harrisville American Legion Auxiliary.
She married David L. Bovard on June 20, 1953, who survives.
She also is survived by a daughter, Marjorie L. Thiry and her husband, Ronald R., of Harrisville; two sons, Brian L. Bovard of Greensburg and William A. Bovard and his wife, Theresa, of Harrisville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Quinette of Pittsburgh; and a brother Clair Dyer and his wife, Dorie, of Grove City.
She was preceded in death an infant sister.
<B>Bovard</B> — Friends of Dorothy Bovard, who died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home, </B>117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the West Unity Community Church, 400 Unity Road, Marion Township, with the Rev. Boyd D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
