Lillian E. Weltner
Lillian E. Weltner, 80, of Jacksonville, N.C., formerly of Freeport, died at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Onslow Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville.
Born in Brackenridge, May 3, 1927, she was the daughter of Victor and Lillian Richards Simmers.
She was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Brackenridge.
Mrs. Weltner was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Weltner of Jacksonville and Reba Blackburn of Buffalo Township; two sons, Robert Weltner of Freeport and Charles Weltner of Butler; 22 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford Ross Weltner; two sons, George and Stanford Weltner; and four brothers, Richard, Frances, Phillip and Lloyd Simmers.
