Richard E. Barnett, 66, of Seven Fields, formerly of Treesdale, died Sunday afternoon at his home.

Born in Char-leroi, Washington County, May 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Mercedes Bissieri Barnett.

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Barnett was vice president of manufacturing for the Calgon Corp. of Pittsburgh.

He was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars and was a former member of the Treesdale Golf and Country Club.

Surviving are his wife, Roselyn Enrietti Barnett, whom he married Aug. 19, 1961; a son, Kenneth Richard Barnett and his wife, Terri, of McCandless Township; a daughter, Jami Lynn Conrad and her husband, Kevin, of Seven Fields; and his grandchildren, Michael and Spencer Barnett and Shane, Paige, Devin, Morgan and Tristan Conrad. He also is survived by a sister, Patricia Hankins and her husband, Thomas, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

<B>BARNETT </B>— Friends of Richard E. Barnett, who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Mars, with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating.
