Caroline L. Gaillot

Caroline Louise Montgomery Gaillot, 67, of Mechanicsville, Md., died Aug. 6 at the Clinton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Maryland after a long illness.

Born June 28, 1940, in Murrinsville, she was the daughter of Ronald "Bus" and Pauline Shoup Montgomery.

She graduated from Moniteau High School in 1959.

In 1970, she moved to St. Mary's County, Md., from Wayson's Corner in Anne Arundel County, Md.

Mrs. Gaillot enjoyed painting, drawing and baking and sewing.

She was the loving wife of Alfred John Gaillot, whom she married Nov. 7, 1969, at the Freeport Assembly of God Church. Also surviving are her children, Samuel Vincent and Faith Ann, both of Mechanicsburg; and her siblings, Patricia Knight of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, Mrs. Kenneth (Bonnie) Kriess of Kennerdell, Mrs. Donald (Wanda) Scott of Kettering, Ohio, Judy Wagner of Butler, Gretchen Roberts of Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Darr-ell (Brenda) Rowell of Lancaster, S.C., Mrs. Stan (Kay) Duploga of Bridgeport, Ohio, Mrs. Chuck (Ruby) Younker of Ligonier, Ronald "Ronnie" Montgomery of Mayport, Ernie Montgomery of Taylorsville, N.C., and Richard "Rick" of Clover, S.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, an infant sister, a sister-in-law, and an infant niece.

<B>GAILLOT </B>— Funeral services for Caroline Louise Montgomery Gaillot, who died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, were Aug. 11 at the <B>Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel</B>, Leonardtown, Md. The Rev. Rob McNatt officiated. Burial was at the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown.
