Michael J. Capicotto
Michael J. "Capi" Capicotto, 39, of Butler died early Saturday morning.
Born Aug. 22, 1968, he was the son of Samuel J. Jr. and Gloria Reinhold Capicotto.
He was a 1987 graduate of Butler High School, where he was a member of the varsity football and track teams. He also was a graduate of the New Castle School of Trades, where completed a 4-year apprenticeship and journeyman program.
Mr. Capicotto was an electrician and worked from the I.B.E.W. Local 5 in Butler.
He had been member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, the William H. Miller Lodge 769 F&AM and the Syria Shriners.
An avid outdoors sportsman, he loved hunting and fishing and especially his golden retriever, Buddy. He also enjoyed growing and caring for his vegetable garden.
Surviving are his parents of Butler; five sisters, Carol Ikenberg and her husband, Howard, of Connoquenessing Susan Frawley and her husband, Jim Frawley, Denise Slagel, her husband, David Slagel and Darlene Trimbur and her husband, Rick Trimbur, all of Butler, and Maria Marburger and her husband, Jim, of Connoquenessing; three nieces, and four nephews.
<B>CAPICOTTO </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Michael J. "Capi" Capicotto, 39, who died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave. The Rev. James Dolan will officiate.
