Joseph F. Grossi
Joseph F. Grossi, 79, of Butler died at 7:32 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Butler, July 16, 1928, he was the son of Paul and Irene Boschetti Grossi.
He was a milkman for the Portman Dairy for 30 years, and he retired in 1993 as a boiler man for Butler School District after 15 years.
Mr. Grossi was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Wolford Grossi, to whom he was married for 53 years; a son, Steven J. Grossi and his wife, Rose, of Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Kathleen) Nevel and Carol McPherson, both of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Tony (Edith) Monday Jr. and Mrs. Theresa Gardina, both of Butler, and Mrs. Virginia Kadunce of Greensboro, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Grossi, who died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael Parish will hold a scriptural wake service at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
