Taxes; SV Teachers; Parenting

Taxes: As your letter states clearly, we are not getting much bang for our tax buck now. At what point do you think taxes (money)would have to be, to stop all these evils we see (till your paycheck is gone?)? Many problems are parent oriented,(drugs/etc.) money for more cops, seems like putting the cops after the horse! Maybe we should look a little more a prevention instead of correction, oh, but that is always labeled a liberal idea!

SV Teachers: You forgot payed sabbaticals, sick time/etc. I get paid about as much as teachers, but I work year round!Like they way your thinking.

Parenting: Although your on the right track,It takes a whole lot more than talking. Children need to understand they are WANTED,CARED ABOUT, AND LOVED! This does require alot of time as a parent. Consider it as an investment in your community. Now you can put your wallet away, and save on more taxes for police, which are the last resort for poor parenting!
