Hello to all. This note is regarding a request for the community to reach out to one of our own. You may have read in the Butler Eagle of the shooting that took place at Drive Thru Beverage on Route 8. The following information has been told to me through a chain of people so please bear with me. Mr. Fend was shot and is in a Pittsburgh hospital. He is experiencing some complications that could prolong his hospital stay. A few community members are placing collection containers in local businesses asking for donations to assist the family with expenses. By spreading the word, maybe we can help to bring a little business his way too?? Please send out some thoughts and prayers for his family. I have heard that he has a son that is awaiting another trip to Iraq. Thanks for your time.
