Terri Schmitt, granddaughter of Howard and Sandra Frank of West Sunbury, has been accepted to The University of Oxford, England, for a one-year study in psychology.Astudent at Gannon University, she recently completed her sophomore year in the nursing program.Schmitt is the recipient of a full scholarship to Gannon through the Academic Sports League organization, a Big 33 Nursing Scholarship and an Academic Excellence Scholarship.At Gannon, she is a member of the Honor's Program and it's student advisory board and serves as editor-in-chief of the Totem literary magazine and assistant features editor of the Gannon Knight student newspaper.Schmitt is also the chair of the Activities Programming Board, and is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma honors fraternity and the Alpha Tau Delta nursing fraternity. She serves as a tutor in the school's writing center and has been named to the Dean's List for four semesters.She is a 2005 graduate of Moniteau High School.———
<B>Grant Foley</B> of Butler Township has been accepted to Shady Side Academy in Fox Chapel.Foley attended Butler Junior High School and plans to play football, basketball and baseball at the academy.He is the son of Jeffrey and Kathleen Foley.———
<B>Chris Mike</B> of Cranberry Township, a 2004 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, has earned a seat in the One O'Clock Lab Band at the University of North Texas.The renowned touring band has performed around the world.Mike is pursuing a degree in music at the university.
