McClaine, Slater
An April 19 wedding is being planned by Bradys Bend residents Maggie McClaine and Joshua Slater.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward McClaine of Chicora and Diana DeBacco of East Brady. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Paul and Jane Slater of Butler.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Karns City High School and the cosmetology program at Butler County Vocational-Technical School. She earned an associate degree in elementary education in 2005 from Butler County Community College and a bachelor's degree in communication in 2007 from Slippery Rock University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in communication at Clarion University. She is employed at Cindy Cumming's Insurance Agency and The Cutting Studio.
Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2002 from Butler County Community College, earning an associate degree in electronics. He works for United Parcel Service in Butler.
