Dorothy A. 'Sis' Brown
Dorothy A. "Sis" Brown, 61, of West Sunbury died Monday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born March 23, 1946, in Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Robert and Esther Delores McFadden Wyant.
She was a member of the Ridgeville Methodist Church.
Mrs. Brown was an operator at AK Steel for 20 years and also had worked at Thompson's Market in West Sunbury. She enjoyed boating.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Brown. whom she married June 13, 1964; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Christine R.) Stewart and Mrs. Ronald (Tina) Confer, both of West Sunbury; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Watterson and Mrs. George (Arlene) Saye, both of Parker; and three brothers, Roy and Bill Wyant, both of Petrolia, and Bob Wyant of Parker.
She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
<B>BROWN </B>— Friends of Dorothy A. "Sis" Brown, who died Monday, July 9, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mathias, pastor of the Concord Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
