Jackowski

William F. Jackowski, 75, of Evans City died Monday afternoon at his home.

Born in Uniontown on Feb. 9, 1932, he was the son of Valentine and Agnes Leju Jackowski.

He had been a meat cutter at Giant Eagle.

Mr. Jackowski was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was a Catholic.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Kozak Jackowski, whom he married May 19, 1951; two daughters, Mrs. Brad (Denise) Bennett of Mars and Kristina Schweiger in North Carolina; three sons, Frank, Steven and Jason Jackowski, all of Evans City; his grandchildren, Shawn, Bryan and Shannon Bennett and Ricky Schweiger; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Frances Kolarik of Uniontown, Pauline Albani of Sharon and Margaret Burke of McClellandtown, Fayette County.

Jackowski, who died Monday, July 2, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Bober, pastor of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church of Mars, officiating.
