My condolences Mary.... I really can't hide my distaste for this area. Not all of Va is so bad, there are some beautiful places to visit like the Blue Ridge Mountains, etc. The only thing I don't like is the traffic and being scared to go shopping alone in the Woodbridge area at night. My friend and I had some really scary episodes at the Walmart in Woodbridge, one of which made us never go back unless it was daylight. We were told by many when we first moved here that there was a horrible gang issue in Manassas area which really suprised me considering it is such a rural area. Butler does have it's share of issues though I have to admit. Being a foster parent I know of the horrible heroin problem, as well as the dying economy. I guess everyone has problems, my take on it is; I'd rather be at home trying to take care of it then in another place who has just as many of it's own.
