Sherry E. Silvis
Sherry Elaine Silvis, 59, formerly of Cherry Run Street in Rimersburg and of East Brady, died unexpectedly at 9 a.m. Monday of natural causes at the Clarion Dialysis Center. She lived at the Golden Living Center in Clarion for the past year.
Born in Kittanning, July 28, 1947, she was a daughter of Mrs. Betty McElroy McClure.
She was a member of the East Brady Baptist Church.
Mrs. Silvis was a 1967 graduate of Karns City High School.
She enjoyed crafts.
Surviving are two sons, Robert McElroy of Westmoreland County and Eric McElroy of Baltimore, Md.; her mother of East Brady; two brothers, Daniel Six of East Brady and Steven Six and his wife, Jeanne, of Karns City; and three sisters, Cinda Six and her husband, Harry Boltz, of Petrolia, Edith Pennington and her husband, Robert, of Enola and Rebecca Six and Paul Edmunds of Flanders, N.J.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Raymond Silvis, whom she married Oct. 10, 1986, in Armstrong County, died 2001. She also was preceded in death by a son, Bryan McElroy, who died in 1974; and two brothers, Randall Six, who died in 1998 and Michael Six, who died in 2006.
<B>SILVIS </B>— Friends of Sherry Elaine Silvis, who died Monday, June 25, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with her church pastor, the Rev. Thomas Pesci, officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
