Ufner

Sarah Ufner, daughter of Richard and Barbara Ufner of Middlesex Township, was recently awarded a full scholarship to attend Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week at Lycoming College in William-sport, Lycoming County.Ufner, a senior at Mars High School, will attend one of four week-long sessions of the economic education program. The Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week sessions offers participants the chance to compete in a simulated private enterprise system.———

<B>Lindsey Reese</B>, daughter of Thomas and Nancy Reese of Butler, has been accepted to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.A recent graduate of Butler High School, she plans to pursue a degree in Aeronautical Science.———

<B>Megan Fair</B>, daughter of Edward and Karen Fair of Butler, was recently awarded a College of Fine Arts academic scholarship and was named a College of Fine Arts Institute Scholar at the University of Utah.She was also awarded the Department of Art and Art History full academic scholarship for the upcoming academic year.While at the university, she has been on the dean's list and is a member of Orchesis Honor Society in the department of modern dance and has performed in numerous student and senior concerts and guest artist works.She was a member of the performing dance company and the "Listening to the Earth" community arts project.Fair has also accepted an internship at The Frick Art Museum in Pittsburgh.She plans to return to the university to complete honors degrees in art history and modern dance.———

<B>Elizabeth Huet</B> of Fenelton, <B>Brianna Conner</B> of Rimersburg and <B>Jennifer Fair</B> of Sarver were recently inducted into the Seton Hill chapter of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society.———<B>Kelsey Sowers,</B> daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Sowers of Valencia, has been accepted to St. Vincent College in Latrobe for the fall semester.She is a graduate of Mars High School, where she was active in the art club, class council, Interact and varsity tennis.She plans to major in elementary education.———

<B>Kristy Weber</B> of Butler, daughter of Sandra and Eric Kirby and Jeffrey Weber, has been accepted to St. Vincent College in Latrobe for the fall semester.Arecent graduate of Butler High School, she was a member of youth government.Weber plans to major in premedicine.———

<B>Steven Schnaubelt,</B> son of Michele and Stephan Schnaubelt of Evans City, has been accepted to St. Vincent College in Latrobe for the fall semester.He graduated from Seneca Valley High School, where he was named to the honor roll and the National Society of High School Scholars. He was also active in football and track and field. Schnaubelt plans to major in biology and pre-med.
