I agree with you about Waldameer. We went about two years ago, and my kids are still talking about it. We paid for the kids to ride in the park, and us adults just walked around, and enjoyed watching the kids. We did spend the money for the water park, but it was well worth it. That was one of the best family vacations we have had. Also in Erie is just their beaches all together. Which are free too. The kids loved the waves, and all the sand. They thought we were at the ocean. I would love to hear of more places to go to also. We are planning another weekend getaway for next month, and were planning on going back to Erie. Only if anyone else have any ideas that aren't too expensive, and is a great place to be at let me know!!
