Long, Flecker

A Sept. 29 wedding is being planned by Pittsburgh residents Katie Flecker and Derek Long.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Janet Flecker of Prospect. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Craig and Wendy Long of Altoona.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2005 graduate of Duquesne University, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in communications. She works for the Urban Impact Foundation in Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé graduated from Altoona High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2004 from Grove City College and a master's degree in 2007 from Indiana (Pa.) University. He is also employed by the Urban Impact Foundation
