The Lyndora Lancers 19-and-under Palomino team captured the recent PastTime Tournament in Morgantown, W.Va.
The Lancers lost 6-3 to the Cincinnati Flames in the opener, but won their next four games for the title.
In a 7-1 victory over Charleston Nitro High School, Brian Warheit tossed a three-hitter with nine strikeouts
In a 6-0 triumph over New York Tide, Tim Geibel also pitched a three-hitter with 11 strikeouts and one walk.
In the semifinal game against the Cincinnati River Bats, the Lancers won 10-9 in nine innings as Jim McCaslin belted a three-run homer to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning. Warheit drove in Adam Miller with the game-winning run.
In the championship game against Elite Baseball, Lyndora plated five runs in the top of the seventh to take a 10-6 lead, then held on for a 10-8 win.
