Northern Steel's boys soccer teams recently played a variety of games:

• The under-13 boys dropped a 2-1 decision to Buffalo United Premier as James Wisniesky scored the team's lone goal. Wisnieski also scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over the Rochester Jr. Rhinos. Goalie Tyler Nelson got the shutout.

• The under-14 boys defeated Ohio Premiere 1-0 on a goal by Robbie Sigurdsson. Jacob Wahl scored two goals in a 7-0 win over the Cleveland Blues. Kevin Franz, Josh Brake, Garret Blake, Tyler Odom and Jorden Case all added goals.

• Ryan Hyatt scored three goals as the under-15 boys defeated Cleveland Area Soccer Academy 5-0. Tim Johnston and Dylan Mcnany added goals. Johnston and Michael Gottron split the shutout in goal.
