Butler Health System appoints 2 trustees

McClaine

The Butler Health System's Board of Trustees has appointed two new members to its ranks.

Douglas McClaine and Fiore Londino have been added, said William Bessor, board president.

McClaine, who is on BHS's compensation committee, is vice president of Mine Safety Appliances.

He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor's in administration and management science from Carnegie Mellon University and a law degree from The Dickinson School of Law.

McClaine was a director with the health system's foundation, but resigned that post to become a trustee. He is a past director and treasurer of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Corporate Counsel Association.

McClaine and his wife, Carolyn, live in Valencia.

Fiore Londino is an organization development consultant with more than 25 years of experience. He is a partner in Pareto Consulting and previously served as vice president of strategy and core human resource processes with Marconi and its predecessor, FORE Systems.

Londino lives in Allison Park with his wife, Maureen.

He has been a member of the BHS Compensation Committee since 2004, has served as president of the board of trustees for City Chapter High School since 2001, and has served as president of the board for the Network of Hope.

The system board, which oversees Butler Memorial Hospital and its outpatient services, also includes Bessor; Marcia Segraves, secretary; Fred Y. Bennitt; Dr. T.T. Channapati; Ken DeFurio, BHS president and CEO; Dr. David Evanko; David Foreman; Patrica Green; Kathryn Helfer; Joseph Huth; Dr. Robert McKee; Dr. Richard Latuska; and Donald Shamey.

The system's administrative staff includes: DeFurio; Rick Allen, senior vice president of business development and strategic planning; Mike Busch, system vice president; Maureen "Mabel" Gray, RN, vice president of patient care services; Anne Krebs, vice president of finance; Dr. Tom McGill, vice president of quality and safety; Jerry Mote, executive director of the BHS Foundation; John Righetti, executive director of communications; Stephanie Roskovski, special assistant to the president for a healthy workplace; Lin Sorber, vice president of human resources; and Mike Swank, director of organizational learning.
