Ruth Emily Lens, 85, of Wildwood, Mo., died Friday in St. Louis, Mo.

Born March 9, 1922, in Franklin Township, she was the daughter of Ralph G. and Jennie Mae Cooper.

Mrs. Lens was a homemaker and former member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Carol L.) Baxter and two grandchildren, Rebekah and David Baxter, all of Chesterfield, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Carmen (Mabel) Oliva of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander B. "Al" Lens; five sisters, and five brothers.
