Thelma M. Callender, 65, of Parker died Monday afternoon at her home after a long illness.

Born in Clintonville, May 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Orie and Annie Ethel Black Travis.

She attended the Bell Chapel Memorial Wesleyan Church in Boyers.

Surviving are her husband, Gene A. Callender, whom she married Dec. 3, 1957; two daughters, Kathleen Gold of Butler and Karen E. "Kay-Cee" Schiberl of Emlenton; a son, Donald G. Callender of Parker; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Also surviving are four sisters, Phoebe, Louise, Ruth and Lorraine; two brothers, Bill and Fred Travis; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, two sons, a grandson and two brothers.

<B>CALLENDER </B>— Friends of Thelma M. Callender, who died Monday, April 2, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Warinner, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dutch Hill, Clarion County.
