Margaret Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cornman, 84, of Sugar Creek Rest, Worthington, formerly of Karns City, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday at the ACMH Hospital, Kittanning, after a long illness.

Born in Clarion County, Oct. 3, 1922, she was a daughter of Raymond and Mabel Roudebush Croyle.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Karns City and enjoyed attending church functions.

She attended school in Rimersburg and had been employed at the Archway Cookie Co. in Rimersburg for some time.

Surviving are a son, Chester L. "Butch" Cornman and his wife, Joyce Darlene, of Karns City; a granddaughter, Lindsey A. Cornman of Karns City; a sister, Alvera Risch and her husband, the Rev. David Risch, of Cleveland, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Robert and Joseph Croyle; and two infant sisters, Carolyn Cornman and baby girl Cornman.

<B>CORNMAN </B>— Friends of Margaret Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cornman, who died Monday, April 2, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Kelley, pastor of the Church of God of Karns City, officiating. Burial will follow at the Rimersburg Cemetery.
