The Butler grades four through six team defeated Pittsburgh Youth Foundation 11-10 and Pine-Richland 9-5 in recent action.

Tanner Kotch and Clay Bachman had three goals and one assist each, and Ben Tackett scored three goals for Butler (4-0).

Against P-R, J.J. Raub and Bachman had three goals apiece and Ben Tackett added two goals.

• The Butler kindergarten through fourth grade team is off to a 2-0-1 record with wins against Pittsburgh Youth Foundation (13-5) and Sewickley Valley (9-5) and a tie against Pine-Richland (11-11).

Clay Bachman leads with 17 goals, Joey Farmer has six, David Farmer has five and Phillip Schneck has four.

Carl Glinsky and Aaron Baker netted goals to lead the Slippery Rock II squad to a 2-1 triumph over Prospect Ice on Saturday.Dan Vollnogle scored for Prospect.• Kenny Rall scored two goals while Ryan Purvis, Sam Flecker and Dan Vollnogle each added one as the Prospect Ice defeated Slippery Rock I 5-4 in recent action.Jason Bluedorn and Marissa Siebka both scored twice for Slippery Rock.• Megan Stephenson scored three goals and Josh Jones accounted for the other as the Prospect Predators downed Slippery Rock S1 4-1.Jason Bluedorn scored Slippery Rock's lone goal.• Slippery Rock's girls under-12 team defeated Kinzua 7-1 Sunday as Maranda McGovern scored three goals, Haley Urban added two goals, and Harley Boyd and Laura Hilliard had one each.Ellie Mularski had three assists. Cassie Cooper and Boyd were the goalkeepers.
