Dorothy Eleanor Anderson, 87, formerly of Prospect, died early today in the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Born March 21, 1920, in Butler County, she was the daughter of David Clark and Anna Marie Neely Anderson.

Ms. Anderson retired from Mellon Bank in Butler as a loan officer.

She was a life member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Prospect, and she was a member of the Prospect Preservation Society.

She is survived by two sisters, Elsie Craig of Elyria, Ohio, and Lois McCurdy of Prospect; a brother, Roy Anderson of Prospect; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
